    Description: There is a need for a holistic understanding of the critical issues related to Trace Organic Compounds (TOrCs) in our wastewater and water supply. This workshop, sponsored by WERF, will focus on the latest investigations of toxicology and risk, communication, and treatment of TOrCs.

  • W110: WEF/WERF Improving Our Understanding and Management of Biosolids Regrowth, Odors and Sudden Increases (ROSI) in Indicator Organisms

    When: Saturday, October 02, 2010, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
    Where: New Orleans Morial Convention Center, Room 345

    Description: The related issues of biosolids odors and sudden increases of pathogen-indicator organisms in biosolids comprise two of the most significant barriers to sustainable biosolids management programs for many utilities and regulators. This workshop will report on progress and solicit feedback on interim results of WERF Project SRSK4T08, which is developing a solutions-oriented approach to overcoming these barriers.
