WERF Receives $250,000 in New EPA Funding to Advance Innovation

WERF recently received $250,000 in new funding from the U.S. EPA to support the advancement of innovative technologies as part of WERF’s Cooperative Agreement “Innovation and Research for Water Infrastructure for the 21st Century”. The new funds will help support LIFT program activities including projects to demonstrate and evaluate innovative wastewater technologies, develop web tools to support innovative technology adoption and facilitate utility data sharing on pilot activities and technology needs, and other projects. The new projects are pending approval and will be announced in early 2015.
