The Water Research Foundation (formerly WE&RF) recently hosted a two-day capstone summit showcasing the projects and programs conducted under their U.S. EPA’s National Priorities Nutrient Management Centers grant. Not only did the researchers associated with WRF’s National Research Center for Resource Recovery and Nutrient Management share their findings and demonstrate tools developed, but attendees also heard presentations on the other three National Nutrient Centers funded under the U.S. EPA’s grant. Overviews of other WRF and partner organizations’ nutrient removal and recovery related research programs were discussed. Participants had the opportunity to identify additional research needs and gaps on effective nutrient management.
